The Weßling House
Weßling, DE
The compact, exterior shell with its minimalistic outer surface contrasts with the artistic form of the gallery above the living room. The spatial layout is characterized by the interaction of open and concealed zones, which make the simple basic organization of the house appear multifarious; which not only makes the interior appear larger, but also the exterior with its views of the premises.
The few visible materials and light colors create a pleasant room atmosphere: The white-glazed wooden surfaces of the wall, ceilings and windows perfectly harmonize with the built-in furniture and floors made of washed oak and the surface made of finely blasted Jura marble in the bathroom and kitchen.
