Voith is a leading industrial company with four divisions: Voith Paper, Voith Turbo, Voith Hydro and Voith Digital Solutions. The company employs 4,000 people at its headquarters in Heidenheim. Since the company was founded more than 190 years ago, the location has gradually grown to approx. 400,000 sqm.

Voith has commissioned Spacial Solutions together with Ernst & Young to develop a master plan that will serve as a guideline for future construction and infrastructure measures. Using a tried and tested process, Spacial Solutions evaluated the existing substance and developed a model on this basis for how research and development, administration, logistics and production can react to future requirements.

The basic idea behind the master planning process is to look from the future into the present.
