In the Eifel region of Germany, STIHL operates one of the very few production lines for particularly light and robust magnesium components. The introduction of new self-sufficiency concepts requires an examination of all processes at the site and the buildings, some of which are outdated. Future growth options and current requirements in terms of safety and environmental protection must be taken into account. The master plan developed with Spacial Solutions also includes the design of the new logistics centre currently under construction.
