IT - Office Park

The IT-Office Park is a fundamental element of the Kigali Convention Complex in Kigali. Five individual four-floor buildings form a group around a generously sized open area that opens up to a view of the cupola of the Convention Center. The rooms between the individual buildings are partially equipped with translucent roofs, which serve as a shield against rainfall and direct sun and keep the need for cooling down to a minimum. Rainwater is collected in tanks.

The ground level floors can be used for shops and restaurants. Here is also the entrance to the Rwanda Museum which is located in the basement. The facades structured with deeply colored lamellae shield against the deeply set morning and evening sun.
