Community Center Hanns-Seidel-Platz

The principle idea of the design is to create a place with an identity that has appeal as well as atmosphere. This resulted in a group of buildings that opens to one side, letting visitors into the interior and also offers an oasis of tranquility with its generous green open spaces that opens up to an open stairway to the north.

In the north and south, two long buildings expand to the street area. In the east-west area, four angular structures extend in the interior area and ensure maximum provision of daylight.

Across the street from the bus station, the protruding angle is a symbolic gesture of the the special elements inside: the community center, library, adult education center and festival theater.
